From Sequencing to Interactive Interpretation: BioTuring and STOmics

Post-Event Summary:

From Sequencing to Interactive Interpretation: BioTuring and SAGC Showcase a Scalable Workflow for STOmics Spatial Transcriptomics Analysis

Spatial transcriptomics is transforming biological research by enabling gene expression to be mapped directly within intact tissues at cellular and subcellular resolution. While experimental technologies continue to advance, analysing these increasingly complex datasets remains a significant challenge and barrier for many researchers.

To help address this topic, the SAGC recently partnered with BioTuring to deliver a webinar demonstrating an end-to-end analytical workflow for STOmics Stereo-seq data using the SpatialX platform.

If you missed the session, you can now watch the recording below.

Bridging the Gap Between Data Generation and Biological Discovery

The webinar focused on how to efficiently process, integrate and explore large spatial transcriptomics datasets without requiring extensive local computational infrastructure.

Using publicly available Macaque Brain and Mouse Intestine STOmics datasets, the presenters demonstrated how BioTuring's SpatialX platform streamlines the analysis of Stereo-seq experiments, enabling researchers to move seamlessly from raw sequencing data to meaningful biological insights.

The session highlighted practical approaches for working with large-scale spatial datasets while maintaining an intuitive, interactive analytical workflow.
