RNA Sequencing

Sequencing bulk RNA can be done in different ways including the most common for mRNA, Total RNA and small RNA. Where possible, the SAGC uses adapters containing Unique Molecular Identifiers (UMI’s) which can be invaluable for the quantification of transcripts. Good experimental design is essential in getting the most out of RNAseq experiments and the SAGC’s considerable experience will help ensure you get the most out of your experiments; whether screening for differential gene expression, gene fusions, monitoring exon usage or looking for long non-coding transcripts. See the Single Cell Sequencing page for the SAGC’s RNA sequencing services for individual cells.
